Once upon a time, a baby's first photos became candids of Mommy at your home in a tent gown, aiming to hide her shape or avoid being photographed altogether. Photos for the very small amount of one's first exposure to the world beyond Mommy became taken by a hospital photographer hovering over a sterile nursery cot. Pregnancy photos have not always been seen in such a lovely light. Being pregnant, within the past, was something to be hidden or perhaps diminished.
